MELTING ICEBERG

Iceberg was presented on the Westerdokdijk, “Het Stenen Hoofd”, a pier in the port area of Amsterdam. The polar regions are out of their range of perception for most people, but that does not mean that we have no influence on this. That evening we organized “Spek & Bonen” (traditional Dutch winter fare) with a collective to celebrate the coldest day of the year and to draw attention to the rapidly melting ice caps. In the sight of 150 visitors eating bacon and beans, the iceberg melted spectacularly.
